I’m very picky about food and this was one of the best food I had in a while. The freshly made salsa was the best I had in my life and it’s not even close. The only downside is that they are in a mall, so that takes away from the atmosphere. The music and the service was exceptional, but I had the feeling that they were trying very hard, which is not a negative, but makes the experience a bit “touristy”. Highly recommended overall.

Restaurant, food, ambiance, price for value was amazing. This is a special place not to be skipped or dismissed because it happens to be in a mall. One of the best dining experiences I have had even compared to Michelin star restaurants. Meticulous plating and every aspect of the dishes are well thought out including the visual experience. Absolutely fabulous.

Our group of four was looking for a change of scenery for dinner on a Tuesday night, someone at Paradise Village said we should check out AMA in the mall. Not being a fan of anything at a mall, my expectations were low and were lower upon entering the building and hearing the noise from the lower level food court and kids play area. Luckily AMA is on the second floor, a little removed from all the activity, but still not very quiet. We were seated immediately because we were the only people dining at the time, also taken as a warning sign. However, any question of doubt was removed right away as our waiter for the evening, Juan Valdez (no kidding), approached us and began the evening's entertainment. I won't say more except that it was such a great experience that exceeded any first impressions. Good food, wonderful service from such a great staff. Well done and thank you.

Seriously delicious food and amazing service! Every dish felt very purposeful with rich perfectly balanced flavours. This is the best food we’ve eaten in years! There are also cute touches like a bell to ring if you liked it (everyone rings it) and complementary chocolate frozen bananas! We were only in Mexico for a week and went twice! Highly highly recommend!

What a delightful experience. The ambiance and service were excellent. The food was absolutely delicious with reasonable prices and generous portions. The restaurant is in a shoping mall in close proximity to a children's play area so it can be a bit noisy but the overall experience is worth the visit. We will be back!

AMAzing! This restaurant won our hearts and was the favourite restaurant for 18 of our friends over our 3 weeks stay. Everything can be complemented here, the decor, the service, the food presentation, the flavours. Seriously the best tasting food over every other option, food quality that would be a 5 star back at home. This place has so many special elements included, the service team, the extra table offerings and surprises that make each visit special. The value here also has to be mentioned as they are able to do all of this with most of their dishes in the same or lower price range compared to the higher priced resort options that have inferior service and average food. Our best wish is that more people learn of this best kept secret on the north end of the mall. Where a little elegant restaurant that was built around a family becomes part of your family by the end of your trip. We are sure you will all ring the bell on your way out. To all the staff we hope your special restaurant and culinary talents bring you all the success you deserve.

WOW. I would give them a million stars if I could! This was absolutely without a doubt the BEST service we have ever seen and this is coming from a foodie couple who has been to countless 5 star restaurants. The steak was amazing and better than the highest rated steak dinners we have had at a fraction of the cost! My boyfriend took me here for our three year anniversary. Viktor and his team were the most warm and welcoming people we have ever come across in our international travels. When we first walked in they set up a sign and balloons for us which alone made us feel special. But oh no that’s not even the beginning of their amazing service!! Viktor personally brought us a fan without us even asking to cool us off and he checked in many times making sure we were comfortable. After our surf and turf they brought out bowls and poured lemon water on our hands over the bowls to get the seafood stench off. Now that’s 5 star service!! And of course they couldn’t let us leave without a chocolate delicacy on the house! But that’s STILL not even the best part. I was thinking to myself okay wow that has to be all they already went above and beyond! But nope. They brought out cheesecake and sparklers and clapped and celebrated with us for us for our 3 years!!! ama doesn’t just provide dinner, they provide and experience. They provide a feeling. It truly made the difference between a busy chaotic first day in PV and a lovely romantic vibrant night. We will remember this experience forever. A truly upper echelon establishment.
